The Chung-Ang University Institute of Cyber Lifelong Education is an institution for sustainable education established under the motto "education for future." If future can be defined by "aging population, increasing pace of change, and diversity", people in that future will need to work and learn throughout their lives. In such situation, institutions for life-long education will leave from under the roof of universities and become a new form of university.

In preparation for the future, CAU has introduced a new concept of "sustainable education", in an attempt to reshape itself as an institution that help its students plan and prepare for their own future.
